AMEF presents English translation of Sheikh Abu Muhammad Al-Maqdisi's (may Allah free him) audio speech. In this informative speech, the outspoken Sheikh explains the Kufr of Democracy and how it contradicts Tawheed and the Shariah of Allah even if it is practiced by Muslims. This speech should serve as a warning to those among the Muslims who promote and participate in Democracy whether intentionally or otherwise.
The attractive slogans of liberty, equality and freedom which accompany the rhetoric of Democracy are nothing but a mirage. In Islam, liberty belongs to the Law of Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala and who can be a better well-wisher than Allah ?
In Islam there is freedom but not the freedom of crossing the limits set by the Almighty and rebel against Him like the Devil did. Nor does one have freedom to infringe upon the rights and honor of others in the name of freedom of speech or press.
And in the case of equality, the measure before Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala is, Righteousness.
Therefore, Dear Brothers and Sisters, know well !
That Islam is a way of life and Democracy is also a way of life. And the only way of life acceptable near Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala is ISLAM, rest stands rejected.
Whoever aligns himself with Democracy has infringed upon the right of Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala to legislate laws, to make halaal as haraam or viceversa. This would be Shirk fil Ibaadah which is the greatest sin and escapes forgiveness.
May Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala keep us away from Shirk of every kind and enable to fight the Tawagheet and their Auliya…ameen.
